2 . A C T I VAT I N G T H E A P P L I A N C E

Press the ON/OFF-switch
element to turn on the appliance. The display
will state „5".
•
Pressing the
rature settings. Heat settings can be made
between 1 and 5. The corresponding num-
ber will light up on the display. The higher
the number, the warmer the appliance will
be.
CAUTION: The electronic components in the con-
trol element will warm up the control element
during operation. Therefore, the control element
must never be placed on top of the appliance or
be covered by blankets, pillows or the like. You
must neither place objects on the control element
or sit or lie down on it.
•
Note: The sand in the heating pad will take up to 20 minutes to reach the set
temperature. After these 20 minutes, please check if the temperature is pleasant
with the back of your hand.
•
Caution: Prolonged use on the highest heat level (5) may cause burns to sen-
sitive skin.
•
For your safety, the appliance will turn off after three hours of use and display
the standby-symbol
