8. Never put the heating pad on or into contact with
hot surfaces.
9. Do not use the appliance outdoors.
10. Always pull the plug when the appliance is out of
use, unsupervised or cleaned. Never leave the heat-
ing pad turned on whilst absent. We recommend
using a residual current device (RCD safety switch)
to provide additional protection when operating
electrical devices. It is advisable that a circuit breaker
with a leakage current not exceeding 30 mA is
used. Your electrician can provide you with profes-
sional advice.
11. Do not make any changes to the appliance, the
control element, the power cord, plug or con-
nection adapter.
12. Only use the provided control element with the
heating pad. There is a type reference to the con-
trol element on the woven label.

Children must be supervised to prevent them
from playing with the heating pad or use it
while unattended. The heating pad should not be
used for children under the age of three, as they
can not react to heat. Generally, the heating pad
should not be used, operated, maintained or
