HOW TO RECHARGE A BATTERY
Initially, the charger must not be connected to the mains. Connect the clips to the battery.
- Red clip on the positive (+) terminal.
- Black clip on the negative (-) terminal.
- Then connect the charger to mains.
The charger will then operate in test mode, and the battery charge level will be shown:
The battery does not need recharging.
The battery can be recharged.
The battery must be recharged.
BOOST mode must be used.
The battery charge display will vary during charging until the maximum level is reached.
The indicator is lit steady once charging is complete.
No display:
The polarities may be reversed, the battery may be incorrectly connected, or permanently unserviceable.
