Do not touch the halogen light with bare hands. Greasy residue can cause material
changes in the bulb's glass due to the subsequent action of heat during operation.
In very rare cases, this could result in a burst of the bulb.
• Switch on the mains voltage again and make sure that the lamp is functioning.
If the light's bulb does not light, switch the power off immediately.
Then, check that the light is correctly connected; also check that the bulb is correctly
inserted.
In case of doubt, contact a professional (e.g. an electrician)!
• Thanks to the integrated mechanism, the glass lamp shade can be rotated by approx. 320° or
90° so that the desired area can be illuminated.
Proceed with caution. Danger of being burnt!
The glass lamp shade, as well as the light's metal socket, get very hot during
operation.
Therefore you should use appropriate protection (cloth) for adjustments; or dis-
connect the lamp from the mains supply and allow it to cool down sufficiently before
adjusting.
Replacing the illuminant
Proceed with caution. Danger of being burnt!
Disconnect the light from the mains supply before replacing a defective illuminant.
Wait until the faulty bulb and the light have cooled down sufficiently.
• Remove the faulty bulb from the socket. Do not bend the bulb, it could break or burst.
• Insert a new light bulb with G4 socket (max. 20W) into the light socket.
• Connect the light to the mains supply again and check that the new bulb is functioning.
Maintenance and Care
• Apart from occasionally cleaning the product and changing a faulty light bulb, the product is
maintenance-free. A qualified electrician should carry out any repair to the light.
• Disconnect the light from the mains supply before cleaning. After that, allow sufficient time for
the light to cool down.
• To clean the picture light, just wipe it with a clean, soft, dry cloth. Do not use aggressive
cleaning agents or chemical solvents that could damage the housing (discolouring) or impair
operation.
Do not press too hard on the housing, as scratches might appear.
Dust can easily be removed using a clean, soft brush and a vacuum cleaner.
Disposal
When disposing of an unserviceable product, do so in line with the relevant statutory
regulations.
