When using, never allow eraser to stand in one spot during use.
This could result in surface damage due to excessive heat build up.

Re-sharpening of the MBX
Belts
®
After you have used the MBX
Belt for a certain period, the tips of the
bristles will become round, and this will reduce the brushing effect.
Re-sharpening the bristles will restore the MBX
®
Belt to its proper per-
formance.
®

Assemble the MBX
Belt upside down to provide reverse spinning to
the belt. Spin the belt on the grinding stone for 15 to 30 seconds, apply-
®
ing slight pressure. Then assemble the MBX
Belt again, in the correct
direction.

Belts, straight:
Do not attempt to re-sharpen the bristles on the straight belt.
These bristles cannot be re-sharpened and the belt must replaced.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR VINYL ZAPPER
IMPORTANT: FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS!
Start from edge towards Vinyl; Keep working inward from edge
DO NOT start on solid Surface!

Move Vinyl Zapper
SIDE TO SIDE,
DO NOT move foreward &
staying close to peeled edge
backward across solid surface
Fresh adhesives: Remove Vinyl with Zapper first, then remove any remaining adhesive
with suitable solvent. Work with a "light hand"; do not apply pressure to Vinyl Zapper
MAINTENANCE
WARNING: Always be sure that the tool is switched off and unplugged before attempting to perform inspection
or maintenance.
Cleaning
After each use, use compressed air to blow dust and grit out of the motor housing, and especially the air vent. This
necessary regular maintenance procedure will prevent dust and grit from accumulating on interior surfaces and
reducing motor cooling efficiency.
