Dismantling instructions for servicing work and wear test
Before removing it from the vehicle check the spindle support
for stiffness and signs of external damage.
Fit and remove the support device on the vehicle as set out
g
in the operating and installation instructions supplied by
the vehicle manufacturer.
To remove a support with a gear
1. Remove the crank handle module with parts No. 9, 10, 11,
12 and 13.
2. Remove the screws on the gear cover (part No. 2).
3. Remove the gear and bearing.
4. Remove the gear parts

Crank drive, part No. 1
-
Small high gear wheel, part No. 7
-
Large low gear wheel with bush, part No. 6
degrease them and check them for signs of wear.
5. Remove the protective cap and O ring, part No. 4.
6. Pull the locking ring off the drive shaft, part No. 4, remove
the parts, degrease them and check them for signs of wear.
7. Remove the gear parts from the spur gear

Bearings, parts No. 21 and 22
-
Small spur gear wheel, part No. 19
-
Large spur gear wheel with pin and adjusting washer,
part No. 18
degrease them and check them for signs of wear.
8. Pull out the external tube over the internal tube
9. Check the bush, part No. 8, for signs of wear and replace it
if necessary.
