• Reposition the transparent cover so it sits firmly on the body of the unit.
• Place the measuring spoon in position on the top of the transparent cover.
• If butter is required, place up to 2 tablespoons of chopped up butter in the measuring spoon. While the
corn is popping, the butter will begin to melt. When popping has stopped, turn the unit off and allow the
butter to melt for a further 3 minutes on top of the unit. For best result, we recommend the use of butter
kept at room temperature.
• Place a large bowl beneath the Popcorn Makers chute to catch the popped corn.
• Inset the plug into an AC220-240V, 50Hz power outlet and switch the power on.
• Turn the ON/OFF switch to the ON position.
• The Popped corn will shoot out the chamber and into the bowl.
CAUTION: Do not touch the popcorn maker cover during or immediately after operation. The unit will be
extremely hot.
Do not operate the popcorn maker for more than 5 minutes at a time. Allow a 10 minutes break between
cooking a second cycle of popped corn. This will allow the units motor to cool down.
• When the rate of popping becomes less than about 1 per second, turn the ON/OFF switch to the OFF
position. Allow the unit to cool for at least 2 minutes before removing the transparent cover. We
recommend oven mitts are used to remove the cover. Due to variations in the kernels, you may find not all
kernels have popped.
• Ensure the appliance is turned off after use. Allow to cool before re-using, cleaning or storing.
Helpful hints:
• This product uses hot air circulation in the popping chamber to pop the kernels. To avoid damaged to
your Popcorn Maker, never add butter, oil or any other substance to the popping chamber.
• Never use microwave popcorn in your Popcorn Maker.
• Use only fresh popcorn kernels. Old or stale kernels may cause scorching or smoking during operation.
• Take care when selecting the bowl for catching your popcorn.
- A metal bowl may become hot, exercise caution when moving the bowl.
- If using a plastic bowl, ensure it can withstand the heated air which flows from the Popcorn Maker
while in use.
• If you want to use butter, place two tablespoonful of butter in measuring spoon. While the appliance
makes the popcorns, the butter will melt. Once popcorns are ready, switch off the appliance and let the
butter keeps melting for 3 more minutes on the appliance. After that you should put the melted butter in
the bowl with popcorn, never inside the appliance. For better result, we recommend you to use butter at
room temperature.
