It is also recommended to connect the output of the device to the system by means of a flexible tube
Before starting the device check that the pump is correctly primed.
4.3- Electrical connections
The electrical connections must be carried out by qualified personnel and in compliance with local
regulations in force.
It is always advisable to provide for the installation of an omni polar switch upstream from the device
with a minimum opening of the contacts equal to three millimeters.
• Check the mains voltage and the nameplate data of the pump motor.
• Carry out the electrical connections.
- Unit to pump: follow the wiring diagram printed on the pump control box cover (or refer to
electric wiring at the end of this notice).
- Unit to main AC power source: simply connect the unit's plug to a main power socket-outlet.
• Make sure that the device is grounded.
V. OPERATION
5.1- Intended use
• The product is intended for personal use, private applications with clear water
Do not use with contaminated or dirty water. Do not use with water containing iron ore or iron oxide as
these will disable the unit after a period of time.
• Starts and stops the pump automatically in accordance with the opening and closing of the
devices/taps.
• Stops the pump in case of any water shortage, thus protecting it from dry running.
• Performs water resource verification at different periods of time to restart the water pump
automatically.
• Adjustable starting pressure: 1.0 – 2.5 bar.
• Requires little maintenance.
• The unit should be installed on pumps with 26m head at least.
- Any other use different from that indicated in these instructions may cause damage to the unit and the
pump and likely to present a danger to the user.
- The product is not intended for medical, artisanal, commercial, professional and/or industrial use.
- Do not use for applications not covered in this manual.
- The manufacturer or seller cannot be held responsible for incorrect or non-compliant use of the unit.
5.2- Operation
Function – normal action process
1. Turn on power supply. The pump will automatically start.
2. Open the faucet, pump keeps on working.
3. Close faucet, pump will stop after 8 seconds (±2s).
4. Slowly open the faucet, the pump starts automatically when the pressure drops below set pressure.
5. Pump stops when water is not used. Pump will run 10 seconds every 3 days to prevent rust of
impeller.
Function - Water shortage process
1. Pump runs 20 seconds, stop running.
(at this time, if the water is back to normal, the controller will be back to normal working status)
2. Pump stops working, wait for 10 seconds
3. Pump runs a second time for approx. 40 seconds.
(at this time, if the water is back to normal, the controller will be back to normal working status)
