Minilux Control 36-092
Fitting and operating instructions
1. Areas of application.
The Minilux Control 36-071 is a Day/Night Switch
designed for fitting in boards on DIN rails.
External Light Sensor 43-198, which measures the
current daylight level, is connected to 36-092
Areas where the day/night switch can be of benefit.
- Car parks
- Outdoor areas
- Footpaths
2. Function.
The Minilux Conrtol 36-092 Day/Night Switch with
positive hysteresis switches on the light in the
evening when the Lux on setting is reached. The
light is switched off again when the daylight
exceeds the Lux on setting by 10%. See Fig. 2.
The Minilux Control 36-092 Day/Night Switch
switches on the light immediately after a power
failure for one minute, and on startup.
Test function:
The test function is activated by pressing the test
button. It switches the light on an off for five
seconds at a time.
The display shows the current daylight level and
test is indicated. See Fig. 6.
The test function is automatically deactivated after
5 min.
Constant On:
The light can be switched on constantly by
pressing "Set +" for >1 sec.
"On" is showen in the display.
Cancel this function by pressing the "Set –" button
briefly (< 1 sec.). See Fig. 7.
3. Installation.
Location:
In order to achieve optimum lighting control, you are
recommended to position Light Sensor 43-198
facing north/east. Make sure that the Light Sensor
is not affected by other light sources or by the light
being controlled.
Changes in the daylight level as a result of
reflections, fallen leaves, tree felling or planting may
alter the turn on/off times. See Fig. 3.
Fitting:
The sensor wire is installed as a low-current
installation with a maximum length of 100 m.

4. Settings.
Switch between the menus by pressing "Mode".
Press "Set -" or "Set +" to change the settings.
See Fig. 4.
After 15 sek. the unit automatically returns to
operational.
Factory setting:
Lux range: 300 lx
Lux on: 35 lx
Lux range = the range that also is/has to be
adjusted on the Light Sensor.
Additional ranges: 30 -3000 lux and 300 - 30.000 lux
Lux on = Set point for light on.
Display when operational:
Current lux value at the sensor.
Light level indication:
If the light level is lower than the Lux on setting, it is
shown in the display with a bar over the "lamp"
icon. See Fig. 5.
The indication has no time delay and is visible in the
different menus.
