Terminating the Downrigger Cable
Unwind about 2 feet of cable
Cable
Rubber Cushion
and thread the cable through
the rubber cushion.
Attach to terminator.
Tip: A set of pliers with wire cutters is
recommended for this part of setup.
TIP: Use only straight cable, not kinked.

Cannon Uni-Release
The Cannon Uni-Release attaches directly to
the downrigger weight. Attach fishing line to the
clip at the end of the release, and then click
through a series of increasing tension settings.
The release can be used with any test line on salt
or fresh water and may be adjusted from 2 to 22
pounds of grip tension on the line.
To change line release tension, turn tension
knob to (+) to increase or (-) to decrease. Tension
also may vary according to where the line is
placed in the grips. Higher tension is on the line if
it is set back toward the hinge, and lower if set
closer to the opening. To open the release, spread
the release arms with thumb and forefinger
applying pressure to the sides.

Examine the top of the terminator and note the
order shown in the detail to run cable.

NOTA : Vous devez vous assurer que l'embrayage est

NOTA : Si votre moulinet continue de glisser même si
vous serrez solidement le bouton de réglage du frein,
CABLE OUT
voici une suggestion.
1.
Déroulez le câble du moulinet et enlevez la vis de
blocage.
2. Alignez le trou de la vis de blocage sur le moulinet
avec le trou sur l'arbre du moulinet en insérant une
tige de 3/16 po ou moins. Faites tourner le moulinet
jusqu'à ce que vous sentiez la tige tomber dans le
trou de l'arbre.
3. Replacez la vis de blocage et serrez-la jusqu'à ce
que vous ressentiez une résistance.
4. En basculant légèrement le moulinet de l'arrière vers
l'avant tout en serrant la vis de blocage, vous
pouvez la sentir s'enclencher dans le trou de l'arbre.
Le téton court sur la vis de blocage DOIT entrer
dans le trou de l'arbre et ne doit pas seulement être
serré contre l'arbre.
Avertissement : Le bouton de réglage du frein
(embrayage) doit être réglé pour être suffisamment
serré pour soutenir le poids et le leurre en fonction
de la vitesse de la pêche à la traîne. Un serrage
excédentaire peut causer des dommages à votre
treuil lorsque le poids pend sur la structure du fond
ou un autre obstacle.
Remontée du poids
Poussez momentanément l'interrupteur à levier vers
le haut et relâchez-le. Le poids remontera jusqu'à la
surface et s'arrêtera automatiquement.
Si vous voulez remonter le poids plus loin, poussez
et gardez l'interrupteur à levier vers le haut jusqu'à ce
que le poids atteigne la position désirée et ensuite
relâchez.
Pour arrêter le poids durant sa remontée, poussez
l'interrupteur à levier vers le bas momentanément
(environ 1 seconde).
Réglage du profondimètre
Le profondimètre Cannon offre une mesure exacte
Gripper
et une fonction de réinitialisation facile. Pour le
Pads
réinitialiser, vous n'avez qu'à glisser l'appareil loin du
moulinet jusqu'à ce que les engrenages soient
déclenchés. Faites tourner l'engrenage de l'appareil
pour changer le réglage.
