Description
The GewaLink transmitter IR-1S is a 1 channel transmitter
with internal setting between 60 channels.
Function
When the transmitter is activated, IR signals are transmit-
ted from the transmitter to the IR receiver which is then
activated. If the receiver is installed indoors the transmit-
ter normally does not need to be directed towards the
receiver. When used outdoors however, and if the trans-
mitter is far away from the receiver, the transmitter has
to be turned in the direc-tion of the receiver. IR signals
are obstructed by walls and solid objects. The transmitter
range varies from 10 to 30 metres depending on the light
conditions.
Function Switch
Use the function switch to select the channel areas for
the transmitter. Groups of channels are set by means of
switch 1-4 and selection of a specific channel in the group
is given by switch 5-8. See table! Older GewaLink area is
between channel 16-31.
Battery
The transmitter uses a 9V alkaline battery. To obtain maxi-
mum transmission and to avoid leakage it is im-portant to
use Alkaline batteries only. Be careful when inserting the
battery. It is important that the polarity is correct. The indi-
cator lamp goes out when it is time to replace the battery.

ing the screw on the rear side.
