2. Operating principle
Air from the room is sucked into the LifeOX
discharge, part of the air oxygen is converted into ozone. The source of high voltage for ignition of
the discharge is a high-voltage transformer. Air containing active oxygen is driven by a fan into the
room. The ozone molecule is unstable, the ozone produced then spontaneously decomposes into
oxygen. LifeOX
-AIR Ultra Destructor is equipped with an ozone destroyer to speed up the process of
®
deodorization and reduce the overall room treatment time. When ozone production ceases, the device
automatically switches to ozone destruction mode. This mode drives room air into the device and
decomposes ozone back into oxygen. See individual phases of operation below.
1
1) Air is drawn in by a fan into the LifeOX
ozone. The air containing active oxygen is driven into the room by a fan. 2) The device further produces active
oxygen for the set countdown. 3) At the end of the countdown, the ozone-containing air is driven through the
filter into the device. Ozone-free air comes out of the device.
Ozone (active oxygen) is the strongest disinfectant. It leaves no residual products, and its
use is environmentally friendly. Higher concentrations of ozone in the air can cause health
problems. Please refer to the information to this manual. Never inhale ozone produced
by the device! During the operation of the device, humans, animals and plants must be
removed from the treated space.
