Implement additional safety measures to protect the oper-
ator from the effects of vibration, such as servicing the
power tool and application tools, keeping their hands warm,
and organising workflows correctly.
Assembly
Remove the battery from the power tool before carry-
u
ing out work on the power tool (e.g. maintenance,
changing tool, etc.). The battery should also be re-
moved for transport and storage. There is risk of injury
from unintentionally pressing the on/off switch.
Charging the Battery
Use only the chargers listed on the accessories page.
u
Only these chargers are matched to the lithium-ion bat-
tery of your power tool.
Note: The battery is supplied partially charged. To ensure
full battery capacity, fully charge the battery in the charger
before using your power tool for the first time.
The lithium-ion battery can be charged at any time without
reducing its service life. Interrupting the charging process
does not damage the battery.
The lithium-ion battery is protected against deep discharge
by the "Electronic Cell Protection (ECP)". When the battery
is discharged, the power tool is switched off by means of a
protective circuit: The application tool no longer rotates.
Do not continue to press the On/Off switch after the
u
power tool has automatically switched off. The battery
can be damaged.
Follow the instructions on correct disposal.
Removing the battery (see figures A1–A2)
The battery (12) is equipped with two locking levels to pre-
vent the battery from falling out when pushing the battery re-
lease button (13) unintentionally. As long as the battery is
inserted in the power tool, it is held in position by means of a
spring.
To remove the battery (12), press the release button (13)
and pull the battery forward and out of the power tool. Do
not use force to do this.

– Wait a short while for the light to stop
flashing before switching the power tool
on again.
Operating and storage conditions
The power tool is suitable only for operation at enclosed
work sites.
To ensure smooth operation, the permitted ambient temper-
ature should be between 0 °C and +45 °C, at a permitted rel-
ative humidity of between 20 and 95%, free of condensa-
tion.
Suspension device (see figure B)
You can use the hanging hook (15) to attach the power tool
to a suspension device.
– Place the hanging hook (15) on the power tool and click it
into the slots (16).
Regularly check the condition of the hanging hook and
u
the catch in the suspension device.
Switching on the worklight (see figure C)
– Press the marking ring (18) with a thin screwdriver blade,
a spatula or similar implement.
– Slide the spring ring(19) back onto the housing shell us-
ing a pair of spring ring pliers.
The two shell halves of the LED holder (17) that encase the
worklight (6) can now be brought into the required position.
– Taking care not to damage the cable on the worklight,
slide it into the cavity provided for it (20) in the housing
shell without allowing it to bend.
– Encase the worklight (6) in the two housing shells of the
LED holder (17) once again.
– Press the spring ring (19) and the marking ring (18) back
into their original position.
Configuring the power tool
You can configure various settings on the power tool (e.g. ro-
tational speed, screwing stage, repeat protection) using
BOSCH EXACT Configurator software. The power tool must
be connected to a PC via its USB port in order to do this.
Note: Follow all the safety instructions and information in
the software manual.
Fitting the angled screw head (see figure D)
For these industrial cordless angle wrenches, a suitable
angled screw head (see "Technical data", page 16) must first
be fitted.
– Use the open-ended spanner (22) on the spanner flat (4)
of the angled head flange of the power tool to hold it in
place.
