Control

INFINEE has an algorithm developed by Tecumseh, which enables it to deliver a stable and uniform
output water temperature. The logic of regulation gives priority to the continuity of cold.

Servicing - Maintenance

Modifying the chiller without the prior authorisation of TECUMSEH is prohibited. Any work on the
refrigerating circuit must be carried out by trained and qualified personnel.
Maintenance must be performed by trained and qualified personnel according to the rules of the art of
refrigeration and hydraulic installation, with the application of all the local, national or international
regulations in force. Defective parts must be replaced with original spare parts.
In the event of failure of one (or several) component(s) of the chiller, it is imperative to proceed with its
(their) replacement, and to stop the installation whilst waiting for the replacement.
It is essential to check and regularly tighten all electrical connection sealings, just in case.
Checking the settings, tests and proper operation of all safety elements should be done regularly.
In the case of a damaged supply cable, this must be replaced by authorised personnel to avoid
danger.
Any intervention, electrical or refrigeration, must be done with the machine stopped, with main
electrical disconnector open and locked.
Glycol, propane and oil recovery operations must be carried out in accordance with the regulations in
force.

Circuit sealing

After each intervention, systematic leak detection on all connections must be carried out using an
electronic leak detector suitable for R290 (propane).
Leak detection can be carried out before evacuation via a pre-charge of nitrogen and an aerosol
(prohibited tracer fluids). Check the circuit's vacuum resistance after evacuation to ascertain the correct
circuit sealing.
Fine detection after a charge will be carried out to ensure circuit sealing via a detector.

Vacuum pumping

To vacuum the installation, it is necessary to reach a residual pressure of about 200 microns metres of
mercury or 0.30 mbar with a vacuum pump provided for this purpose.
It is recommended to vacuum simultaneously on the HP and LP circuits, in order to ensure uniform
vacuum level throughout the whole circuit, compressor included.
During this operation, the compressor must be electrically condemned on the circuit power (motor) to
avoid any start-up and damage to the latter.
