Guard Against Kickback which can result in severe

Make sure your footing is firm. Keep feet apart.
Divide your weight evenly on both feet.

Always be sure of your footing and grip the chain saw firmly
with both hands with the thumb and fingers encircling
both handles.
This tool is equipped with a variable speed trigger switch.
To turn the unit on, ensure chain brake is not engaged. Push
down on the the lock off lever (
squeeze the trigger switch (

trigger, the faster it will operate.
In order to keep the unit running you must continue to
squeeze the trigger. To turn the unit off, release the trigger.
nOTE: If too much force is applied while making a cut the
saw will turn off. To restart saw, you must release the lock off

to cut at its own pace.

Setting The Chain Brake
Your chain saw is equipped with a motor chain braking
system which will stop the chain quickly in case of kickback.

Do not hold chain saw by front hand guard/

that left arm is straight to withstand a kickback.
WARNING: Never use a cross-handed grip (left
hand on the rear handle and right hand on the

Never operate while in a tree, in any awkward
position or on a ladder or other unstable surface.
You may lose control of saw causing severe injury.

Keep the chain saw running at full speed the entire
time you are cutting.

Allow the chain to cut for you. Exert only light
pressure. Do not put pressure on chain saw at
end of cut.
WARNING: When not in use always have the
chain brake engaged and battery removed.
