6. Instructions concerning the battery!
• Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
• Make sure that the polarity is correct when inserting the batte-
ries (pay attention to plus + and minus –).
• Do not leave the batteries lying around in the open; there is
the risk of them being swallowed by children or domestic ani-
mals. If swallowed, consult a doctor immediately.
• Leaking or damaged batteries can lead to caustic burning of
the skin. Therefore, use suitable protective gloves.
• Ensure that the batteries are never short-circuited, taken apart
or thrown into a fire. There is a risk of explosion!
• Do not recharge normal batteries. There is a risk of explosion!
• Never mix batteries and accumulators; do not mix
batteries/accumulators with a different charge status (e.g. full
and half-full batteries).
• Always use two batteries of the same type and manufacturer.
• If not used for a longer period (e.g. in case of storage), remove
the inserted batteries.
• Old batteries may leak and cause damage to the product; loss
of guarantee/warranty!
• Remove spent batteries from the device immediately.
• Read the chapter on "Disposal" for the environmentally
friendly disposal of batteries.
