• Never let the packaging material lie around unattended. Plas-
tic foil / bags etc. can become a dangerous toy for children,
there is a risk of suffocation.
• If you have reason to assume that safe operation is no longer
possible, disconnect the device immediately and secure it
against inadvertent operation.
• It must be assumed that the safe operation is no longer possible,
if:
- the device is visibly damaged,
- the device does not operate any longer and
- the product has been stored under unfavourable conditions
- it has been subjected to considerable stress in transit.
• On industrial sites the accident prevention regulations of the
association of the industrial workers' society for electrical equip-
ment and utilities must be followed.
• Capacitors in the device may still be charged even after it has
been disconnected from all power sources.
• The product can be damaged by pressure, traction or when
dropped even from a low height.
• The product is intended for dry indoor use only.
• Power is supplied by way of a 230 V/AC 50 Hz wall outlet
• The power cable may never be plugged in or out with wet hands.
• When installing / mounting the appliance, make sure that the
connection cable is neither pinched nor damaged by sharp
edges.
• Remove the wall power supply from the wall socket if the radio
is not in use for a long period of time.
• Disconnect the radio from the mains voltage before cleaning it.
• For safety reasons, disconnect the wall power supply from the
mains socket in case of a thunderstorm (pull out the mains plug).
• Never replace damaged mains cables yourself. In such cases,
disconnect the appliance from the mains and take it to a spe-
cialist workshop.
