LED
The blue LED lights up in the following conditions:
-
When the PIR Camera is in low battery condition, every time it transmits a detected movement, the Blue LED will flash for 2
seconds.
-
When the cover is opened and the tamper switch is violated, the Blue LED will flash for 2 seconds, to indicate it is transmitting
"Tamper" signal.
-
When the Tamper condition persists, every time it transmits a detected movement, the Blue LED will flash for 2 seconds.
-
When PIR Camera enters Test Mode, the Blue LED will flash for 1 second. During Test mode, the Blue LED will also flash for
2 seconds every time a movement is detected.
-
When the PIR Camera is in 30 seconds warm up period, the Blue LED will slow flash.
-
When the PIR Camera is transmitting captured images under fault conditions (low battery, tamper switch activated), the Blue
LED will continuous flash.
Using the function button:
-
Press the button once to send a supervision signal.
-
To reset the detector: hold the button pressed for 10 seconds. Release the button when the illuminator and the blue LED blink
once.
-
For the learning procedure of the detector on the control unit
Jumper JP3 PIR sensitivity
- Jumper on: "High" sensitivity level.
- Jumper off: "Normal" sensitivity level (default setting).
Jumper JP2
- Jumper On: after transmitting following a detected movement, the signals and the acquired images will be transmitted
if any other movements are detected (default setting).
- Jumper Off: the detector has a "sleep time" (see below) of approximately 1 minute to save energy.
SLEEP TIME
time that elapses between the transmission of a movement and the next transmission
Test mode
The Test mode is used to control the detection coverage of the device not the communication range with the control unit. To
access Test mode: hold the function button pressed for five seconds. The blue LED will light up and stay on for approximately 30
seconds after having released the button. Test mode, which lasts for 3 minutes, will start after this time.
The detector will start initialisation during the first 30 seconds. The detector does not manage intrusions or movements
during this time.
Motion detection in front of the detector can be checked at the end of the initialisation period. The blue LED lights up for
two seconds after detection.
