GROUNDED PLUG
To reduce the risk of electric shock this appliance has a grounded plug.
(2 blades and 1 pin) If the plug does not fit fully into the electrical outlet
contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way or
use an adaptor.
DESCRIPTION OF PARTS
1. Top Grilling Plate
2. Bottom Grilling Plate
3. Floating Hinge
4. Locking Clip
5. Top Plate Adjustment Knob
6. Indicator Lights
BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Read all instructions carefully and keep them for future reference.
2. Remove all packaging.
3. Wipe off both Cooking Plates with a damp cloth so that they are clean
and free of any manufacturing oils that may be left on the surface.
HOW TO USE
1. Place the Panini Sandwich Grill on a flat heatproof surface, close to a 120
volt wall outlet.
2. Plug into outlet. The red 'Power' light will come on. Preheat until the
green 'Ready' light comes on. NOTE: Once preheated, the green 'Ready'
light will go on and off as the thermostat regulates the temperature.
3. Place the sandwich on the Bottom Cooking Plate and close the Top
Cooking Plate. The Floating Hinge will adjust to the height of the sandwich
and the weight of the Top Plate will gradually and evenly press the
sandwich down during cooking. If you do not want the sandwich to be
pressed down, close the lid and turn the Top Plate Adjustment Knob
clockwise so that the Top Plate remains at the desired height.
