• Loosen lock-nut 39
• Adjust the cutting depth by turning bolt 38 in or out
• Tighten lock-nut 39
Vertical alignment of the body and adjustment of
the 45° tilt (see fig. 12-15)
• Position the body for carriage
• Loosen lock lever 1 and set the body tilt
angle (90° or 45°) Tighten lock lever 1
• Place the sides of an alignment setsquare 90° or 45°
(depending on the angle to align) to the surface of saw
blade 5 and turntable 14 If the setsquare sides join
the surfaces of saw blade 5 and table 14 tightly, then
alignment is not needed, otherwise you have to do it
Use bolt 40 and lock-nut 41 for vertical align-
ment of the body (see fig. 12, 14).
[KGS16-210 P]
Bolt 44 is used for adjusting the casing
slope 45° angle (see pic 13) Please note:
bolt 44 is spring-mounted and has no lock
nut, therefore it should be rotated in the
corresponding direction while adjusting the cas-
ing slope angle - its position will be fixed automati-
cally.
[KGS18-255 P]
Use bolt 44 and lock-nut 45 for adjustment
of the body tilt angle 45° (see fig. 15).
• Loosen lock lever 1
• Loosen the lock-nut
• Turning the adjustment bolt in or out, makethe sides
of the 90° or 45° setsquare (depending on the angle
to adjust) join the surfacesof saw blade 5 and table 14
tightly
• Tighten the lock-nut
• Loosen screw 43 and place indicator 42 to the 0°
(on scale 2) or 45° position (depending on the angle to
adjust), then tighten screw 43
Retaining bar alignment (see fig. 16)
• Set the 0° horizontal cutting angle (the procedure is
described below)
• Position the body for carriage
• Place the sides of an alignment setsquare 90° to
the surface of saw blade 5 and retaining bar 11 If the
setsquare sides join the surfaces of saw blade 5 and
retaining bar 11 tightly, then alignment is not needed,
otherwise you have to do it
• Loosen retainer bolt 26 with Allen key 32 and make
the side square elbow 90° bear against saw blade sur-
face 5 and retaining bar 11 surface by moving retaining
bar 11
• Tighten retainer bolts 26
Kerf indicating laser alignment (see fig. 17-18)
Before starting any work, ensure that the kerf indicat-
ing laser is properly aligned
• Make a kerf in the blank, but do not cut it (the proce-
dure is described below)
• Turn on the kerf indicating laser (using on / off
switch 33) - the laser beam should accurately point at
the kerf, otherwise - align the laser
• Loosen screws 46
• Move the body of kerf indicating laser 36 to theright
and left until the laser beam points accu-rately at the
kerf
• Tighten screws 46
Always use the correct supply voltage: the power sup-
ply voltage must match the information quoted on the
power tool identification plate.
Switching the power
Switching on:
Press blocking lever 23 to the left with your right hand
(see fig.19) - this will enable you to press on / off
switch 22 easily and pull the power tool body down
Press on / off switch 22
Switching off:
Release on / off switch 22
the power tool operation
Dust suction allows reducing dust concen-
tration in the air and prevents its accumula-
tion at the workplace
While operating the power tool, always
use dust bag 30 or a vacuum cleaner suitable for col-
lecting process-generated dust A special adapter is
used to join the vacuum cleaner to coupler 3
on the power tool operation
Alignment of the horizontal cutting angle (see
fig. 20)
• Loosen lock 17 and press fixing lever 16 (see fig. 20).
• While pressing lever 16, set the cutting angle by
turning table 14 by lock 17 Indicator 18 shows the set
cutting angle on scale 19
• Release fixing lever 16 and tighten lock 17
You can preset the most frequent angles (45°, 225°, 0°,
etc)
• Loosen lock 17 and press fixing lever 16
• While pressing lever 16, set the cutting angle by
turning table 14 by lock 17 As soon as Indicator 18
shows one of the frequent angles (45°, 225°, 0°, etc)
on scale 19 - release fixing lever 16, and the chosen
angle will be properly fixed, you do not have to tighten
lock 17 in this case
Alignment of the vertical cutting angle (see fig. 21)
• Loosen lock lever 1
• Set the cutting angle by tilting the power tool
body Indicator 42 shows the set cutting angle on
scale 2
• Tighten lock lever 1
