BEFORE OPERATION
FITTING AND REMOVING THE BATTERY
Slide the battery into the handle until it engages. To
remove the battery, push the yellow battery release
button and pull the battery out of the handle.
CHECKING THE BATTERY STATUS (11)
The battery is equipped with a charge level indicator.
Use the battery charge status indicator to plan your
work and/or to avoid deep discharge.
To check the charge level, press the battery charge
level indicator button.
The charge level is represented by red,yellow and
green LEDs.
When the battery is fully charged all three LEDs light up.

CHARGING THE BATTERY
:
NOTE
Before first using your cordless hammer
drill, please charge the battery first.
The charger is equipped with a LED charging indicator
lamp. During charging, the indicator light will light up
red. After completion of charging,the light turns green.
Connect the charger to a suitable mains socket. The
green charging light comes on
Slide the battery onto the charger, the red charging
light comes on
The charger may become warm and buzz slightly during
charging. This is normal and does not indicate a fault.
OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
FITTING TOOLS
Both drill bits and screwdriver bits can be fitted to
the chuck.
To open the chuck rotate the chuck (3) anti-clock-
wise
Insert your tool and tighten the chuck by hand

To prevent the risk of damage to gears change
speeds only when the machine has come to a
complete stop.
The two speed selector controls the speed of the drill.
First gear allows slower drilling with more torque,while
second gear is suitable when less torque but higher
speed is required.
Slide the selector forward to select first gear.
Slide the selector backward to select second gear.

VARIABLE SPEED
To start drilling squeeze the variable speed trigger.
To stop drilling release the trigger.
Note: The more the trigger is depressed, the fast-
er the drilling bit will rotate.
Caution: Operating the machine with a low speed
for a long time will increase the risk that the motor
will be overheated. To prevent overheating, let the
motor cool down regularly (Stop using the machine
for 15 minutes).
TORQUE SETTING (4a)
Rotate the torque setting ring to the desired setting.
