Installation and regulation
of power tool elements
Before carrying out any works on the power tool it
must be disconnected from the mains.
Mounting / dismounting / setting-up of
some elements is the same for all power
tool models, in this case specific models
are not indicated in the illustration.
Do not draw up the fastening ele-
ments too tight to avoid damaging the
thread.
The inserting / replacing of the saw blade (see
fig. 1-2)
As a result of the long use the saw
blade 16 may become quite hot and
the sharp cutting edges may injure the
user, therefore one must always use
protective gloves when inserting / replacing the
saw blade 16.
Attention: observe the following rules upon the in-
serting of the saw blade 16:
• the teeth of the saw blade 16 must face for-
ward;
• the claws on the stem of the saw blade 16 should
rest upon the saw holder;
• the saw blade 16 must fit inside the cavity of the
guide roller 5�

• Turn the sleeve of saw holder 22 as shown on fig-
ure 1�1 and keep it in this position (this will unlock the
clamping mechanism of the saw holder 22 and allows
you to insert / replace the saw blade 16)�
• Insert / replace saw blade 16 (see fig. 1.2).
• Release the sleeve of saw holder 22 as shown on
figure 1.3 (this will lock the clamping mechanism of the
saw holder 22)�

• Move protective cover 3 as shown in fig. 2.1 (this will
unlock the clamping mechanism of the saw holder 22
and allows you to insert / replace the saw blade 16)�
• Insert / replace saw blade 16 (see fig. 2.2).
• Move protective cover 3 as shown in fig. 2.3
(this will lock the clamping mechanism of the saw
holder 22)�

Always use the correct supply voltage: the power sup-
ply voltage must match the information quoted on the
power tool identification plate.
Switching the power

Short-term switching on / off
To switch on, press and hold on / off switch 9, to switch
off - release it�
Long-term switching on / off
Switching on:
Push on / off switch 9 and lock it in the position with
lock-on button 8�
Switching off:
Push and release on / off switch 9�

Switching on:
Press the back part of on / off switch 9 and while
holding it in this position, move on / off switch 9
forward� Press the front part of on / off switch 9 to fix it
in pressed position�
Switching off:
Push the back part of on / off switch 9�
the power tool operation
Dust suction allows reducing dust concen-
tration in the air and prevents its accumula-
tion at the workplace�
When working with the power tool always
use a suction cleaner to suck off the dust form the
treated materials�
Stroke rate selection
Using the thumbwheel for stroke rate selection 1 one
may select the needed number of stroke of the saw
blade 16 (also when operating the power tool)�

• Push on / off switch 9 and lock it in the position with
lock-on button 8�
