Radio Controlled Panic Switch

1. Intended Use
The radio controlled panic switch serves in the event of an emergency to activate an alarm on
the radio controlled alarm system by pressing the red key of the radio controlled panic switch.
The power supply takes places via an integrated battery. The lifespan of the battery is approx. 3
years.
Any use other than that described above could lead to damage to this product and involves the
risk of short circuits, fire, electric shock, etc.
No part of the product should be modified or reassembled. It is not authorized to use the device
if the housing is not completely closed.
All safety and assembly instructions must be observed without fail!

3. Explanation of Symbols
The flash icon in a triangle is used to alert you to potential personal injury hazards
such as electric shock.
A triangle containing an exclamation mark indicates important information in these
operating instructions which are to be observed without fail.
The "hand" symbol indicates special information and advice on operating the
device.
4. Safety instructions
The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to observe
these safety instructions!
Liability for any and all consequential damage is excluded!
We shall not accept liability for damage to property or personal injury caused
by incorrect handling or non-compliance with the safety instructions. The
warranty is voided in these cases.
Dear Customer, the following safety instructions are intended not only for the protection
of your health but also for the protection of the device. Please read carefully through the
following points:
a) General information
• If you are not sure about the initial operation or proper function or other doubts exist about the
functionality, please refer to a specialist.
• The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product is inadmissible because of
safety and approval reasons (CE).
• The product must not get damp or wet.
• Keep the product out of the reach of children.
• Do not leave the packaging material lying around carelessly since it constitutes a danger to chil-
dren.
• Handle the product with care. It can be damaged through impact, blows, or accidental drops,
even from a low height.
b) Batteries and rechargeable batteries
• Batteries and rechargeable batteries must be kept out of the reach of children.
• Please observe the correct polarity, when installing batteries/rechargeable batteries into the
unit.
• Do not leave (rechargeable) batteries lying about openly. There is a risk that the batteries may
be swallowed by children or pets. If swallowed, consult a doctor immediately.
• Leaking or damaged (rechargeable) batteries in contact with the skin might cause acid burns,
therefore, use suitable protective gloves.
• Make sure that batteries/storage batteries are not short-circuited or thrown into fire. There is a
risk of explosion!
• Never disassemble batteries/storage batteries.
• Do not recharge normal batteries. There is a risk of explosion!
• In case of longer periods of non-use (e.g. during storage) remove the inserted (rechargeable)
batteries to avoid damage by a leaking battery.
5. Breaking-in of the radio controlled panic switch

In order to break in your radio controlled panic switch to the radio controlled alarm system,
please proceed as follows:

5.1 Deletion of a radio controlled panic switch
In order to delete a radio controlled panic switch from the storage of the alarm control centre,
please proceed exactly as for the deletion of a radio controlled remote control:

6. Battery replacement
As this product is a panic switch, which is not used every day, it is not designed for battery
replacement.
With a triple operation each day the lifespan of the battery is approx. 3 years.
7. Maintenance and Cleaning
The product requires no servicing on your part apart from occasional cleaning.
Allow any repair to be carried out by a specialist or specialist workshop.
Clean the product with a soft, clean, dry and lint-free cloth. If you wish to remove heavier dirt,
use a cloth, slightly moistened with lukewarm water.
Never use solvent-based cleansing agents, since this might damage the surface of the plastic
housing.
