8 Changing the gas pressure
8.1 Setting the flow pressure
1 To decrease the gas flow rate, press the - arrow (12), to enter the setting
mode.
2 Any further key press will decrease the gas flow rate by 1 l/min.
3 The decrease is indicated by one or several green LEDs lighting up below
the orange LED (2) . Each LED corresponds to a decrease by 1 l/min.
4 To save the set value, wait for 5 seconds, before interrupting the power
supply or making further settings.
To weld at the maximum gas flow rate, switch off the gas monitoring system
EWR RPO/BASIC on the ON/OFF switch (9) .
The red control diode (6) is lit.
The gas monitoring system EWR RPO/BASIC has been pre-programmed for
refilling the gas hoses. When no welding takes place, the pressure can be
changed in accordance with the hose length of the welding system.
NOTICE
• With the factory setting, the gas pressure is 0.6 bar.
