Connect CONCAVE medical supply unit
Prepare for installing gases and electrical system
• Loosen knurled screw of swivel plate and swing out swivel plate.
Install gases
Connection facilities for medical gas pipes are designated accor-
ding to gas type and are therefore non-interchangeable.
Maintenance and inspection intervals can be found in the suppliers'
relevant technical descriptions of medical gas delivery points.
• Use screw-clamped joint to join gas pipes (must be carried out
by authorised qualified personnel).
• Pay attention to manufacturing drawing (legend)!
Electrical installation
• Swing swivel plate back into position and secure it with knurled
screw
• Connect mains power and communication leads on swivel plate
in accordance with enclosed wiring diagram, including protec-
tive conductor of feed-in socket (must be carried out by autho-
rised qualified electrician).
Reclose feed-in location
• Move end cap roughly 1 cm to one side (spring mechanism).
• Press cover into medical supply unit so that it fits flush.
After completing installation work
• Perform function and safety tests.
