Changing the Hose — PX Models Only
1. Remove the suction and discharge flanges.
2. Remove the connecting sockets from the hose and take off the quick-sealing ring from
the flangeless end of the hose.
3. Take out the damaged hose. This can be made easier by reversing the motor briefly.
WARNING: Do not wear gloves or loose clothing, as they can be pulled in.
The greasing and fitting of the new hose is described in the INSTALLING THE PUMP
HOSE—PX Models Only section .
NOTE: If the pump is fitted with a hose monitor, care must be taken not to grease the
hose excessively, as the grease may impair the function of the sensor, which
should be cleaned with a dry cloth at every hose change.
WARNING:
Isolate the pump from the main power source before connection,
assembly or maintenance.
