5. TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem
The system does not
work
No picture
The noise comes out
Black bars above
and below the picture
The screen is dark
Note:
The monitor has an operating temperature range of —10°C to +70°C (+15°F — +158°F).
If the temperature is outside this operating range, the unit may not turn on, or the
screen may be slow to react to image changes. The monitor will function normally
once it returns to its proper operating range.

Cause
A fuse may be blown.
The proper source input is
not selected.
The portable audio-visual
devices for the monitor
is connected to vehicle's
power supply for charge.
Monitor display mode is set
to "NORMAL".
The brightness is set too
low.
Solution
Replace the external fuse
with a fuse of the same
amperage.
The power wires may not
be connected. Check the
wiring connections and
reset.
Press SOURCE to make
sure the proper input is
selected.
If there is still no picture,
press MENU. If the menu
appears, check the source
unit and video connections.
If no menu appears, check
all fuses and power
connections to the monitor
and the associated equip-
ment.
Connect portable audio-vi-
sual devices to the internal
battery of devices etc.
Change the monitor display
mode to "WIDE" in MENU
setup
Press MENU and adjust
the BRIGHT option.
