PREPARING FAUCET FOR USE
STEP 7: To prepare your faucet for use, remove
spout aerator. Turn faucet on full mix position,
then turn on water supply stops under sink. Flush
both hot and cold water lines for one minute each.
While water is running, check for leaks below
sink. (NOTE: DO NOT turn faucet on and off
repeatedly during initial flush period.)
STEP 8: Turn faucet off and check for leaks in
sink area. Replace aerator and check for leaks
below sink. Your faucet is ready to use.

to the cleaning of this product. Although its
finish is extremely durable, it can be
damaged by harsh abrasives or polish. To
clean, simply wipe gently with a damp cloth
and blot dry with a soft towel.

nance is eventually called for, its a quick
clean job with one of the inexpensive
Peerless repair kits available where you
bought your Peerless faucet. The replace-
ment parts in these kits will restore your
faucet to the same new condition as the day
you bought it.

MAINTENANCE INSTALLATION INSTRUC-
TIONS ON THE BACK OF ALL OUR
CARDED REPAIR KITS. IMPORTANT–
AFTER ANY MAINTENANCE THOROUGHLY
FLUSH THE FAUCET AS STATED IN THE
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS.

IF FAUCET LEAKS FROM UNDER HANDLE
1. DO SHUT OFF WATER SUPPLIES.
Remove handle.
2. Using wrench supplied, tighten adjusting ring until
water no longer leaks around stem of ball when
faucet is on and pressure is exerted to force ball
into socket.

IF LEAK PERSISTS: Replace ball assembly.
Repair Kit RP12388.
1.
1. SHUT OFF WATER SUPPLIES. Remove handle
with wrench supplied.
2. Unscrew cap assembly and lift out ball and cam
assembly by pulling up on stem.
3. Slip packing then cam on new ball and insert into
socket. Reinstall cap and handle.
IF FAUCET LEAKS FROM SPOUT OUTLET:
Replace seats and springs Repair Kit RP1815.

1. SHUT OFF WATER SUPPLIES. Remove handle
with wrench supplied.
2. Unscrew cap assembly and lift out ball and cam
assembly by pulling up on stem.
3. Remove old seats and springs and replace with
new seats and springs. NOTE: Refer to insert for
proper seat and spring installation. Reassemble
faucet in reverse order.
HELPFUL HINTS:
1. Never tighten cap assembly to stop a leak, always tighten
adjusting ring.
2. Using wrench supplied, partially unscrew adjusting ring before
attempting to remove cap assembly. Always install cap assembly
HAND TIGHT, then tighten adjusting ring.
