STEP 1. Use of Teflon tape is required
on all threaded connections. Eye protection
should be worn when cutting water
supply pipes.
Before removing old faucet, shut off hot and
cold water supplies and open faucet to
release pressure.
STEP 2. Shut off water supply. Disconnect
and remove old faucet. Remove your
Peerless faucet from package. Place gasket
on bottom of faucet. Note: If you are installing
a faucet without spray attachment, move on
to Step 5.
STEP 3. FOR MODELS WITH SPRAY.
FOR MODEL 8249. Insert spray hose down
through spray support on escutcheon and far
right hole in sink. Place locknut on spray
hose and then insert spray hose up through
center hole in sink. Move to Step 4.
FOR MODEL 8269. Insert spray hose down
through spray support on escutcheon and far
right hole in sink. Place washer then nut on
spray hose and insert spray hose up through
center hole in sink. Move to Step 4.

STEP 4: Using a wrench attach spray hose
tightly to spray hose nipple.
STEP 5. Set faucet in place on sink. If sink is
uneven or gasket does not properly seal, use
of silicone sealant in place of gasket may be
required. Screw locknuts and or washer and
nut onto threaded shanks and hand tighten.
No wrench is required. Loosen set screw and
straighten handle if necessary using wrench
supplied. NOTE: The Peerless name on the
escutcheon should face towards the front of
the sink.
FOR MODEL 8269. Screw bottle on shank
and insert dispenser head assembly. To fill,
lift the head and pump assembly out of the
bottle and pour not more than 8 oz. into
bottle. Do not remove bottle each time as this
weakens the neck.

STEP 6. Make connections to water supplies.
WATER SUPPLY HOOK-UPS
(NOT PROVIDED)
Choose hook-ups for 1/2" I.P.S. connections:
Ball nose riser (3/8" O.D. copper tubing), or 1/2"
I.P.S. faucet connector.
CONNECT TO WATER SUPPLIES.
