- Determine the position of the bathtub
allowing enough space for the plumbing
and making sure that the drain and
plumbing are not directly above the
floor joists.
- On the floor, trace the bottom of the
bathtub (length & width) and mark the cut-
ting line (RED LINE) around the drain for
connection of the piping, the drain and
the p-trap. Cut the opening in the floor
along the red mark as shown (fig.1).
- Déterminer l'emplacement du bain
en prévoyant l'espace suffisant pour la
robinetterie et s'assurer que le drain et
la robinetterie ne sont pas situés
au-dessus des solives du plancher.
- Sur le plancher, tracer le fond du bain
(longueur et largeur) et indiquer la
ligne de découpage (LIGNE ROUGE)
autour du drain pour le raccordement
de la tuyauterie, du drain et du syphon.
Couper l'ouverture dans le plancher le
long de la marque rouge tel qu'illustré
(fig. 1)

- Place the female part of the expansion
joint as shown (fig.2). Make sure it is flush
to the finished floor. Use the steel trap to
fasten the expansion joint to the joists.
- Placer la partie femelle du joint de
dilatation tel qu'illustré (fig.2). S'assurer
que cette partie soit au même niveau
que le plancher (fini). Utilisez le feuillard
perforé pour fixer le joint de dilatation
aux solives.

- Place the bathtub (1) on 6 inches blocks
(2) to install the drain. Position the drain
seal (4) and install the drain (3). Put the
drain seal (5) in its position and screw the
bottom part of the drain (6).
- Poser le bain (1) sur des blocs de
6 pouces (2) et installer le joint
d'étanchéité (4) et le drain du bain (3).
Placer le joint d'étanchéité (5) et visser
l'écrou du drain du bain (6).
