speed. If you would like to calibrate the speedometer and
display of the POI Pilot to each other, an adjustment can
be made under this setting item.
 Display switch-off, if no warning
• NO = Display on and shows time, speed, or distance to
warning point.
• YES = Display is activated only during a warning and is off
between warnings.
 Day/night mode
• 0 = Automatic, display brightness switches automatically
between day and night brightness depending on
location and time (astronomical computation).
• 1 = Day, display brightness permanently set to day
brightness.
• 2 = Night, display brightness permanently set to night
brightness.
 Brightness day
0 – 8 = Brightness in day mode.
 Brightness night
0 – 8 = Brightness in night mode.
 Speed warning (cruise control)
• OFF = No warning about a fixed speed.
• 10 – 210 km/h = If the speed set here is exceeded, an
acoustic warning is given independently of warning

points. This function can be used, e.g., to be reminded of
the maximum permissible speed of winter tires.
 Battery Request
+/- press button simultaneous. The charging time oft he
battery takes 2,5 hours.
 Delete data
• aDL = Delete all data, all data will be deleted from the
memory of the POI Pilot. The data must be re-installed via
the PC software to use it again.
• dOP = Delete own POI records, only POIs recorded by the
user via the M button will be deleted.
• CAN = Cancel deletion.
 Reset to factory settings
• YES = Resets all settings (warning settings 1. – 4. as well as
system settings 5.) to default. Data is retained.
 Back to main menu
Via this submenu item, you can directly access the main
menu. Alternatively, the device automatically switches
after a few seconds to the normal view.
