9. Do not lay the device on sensitive surfaces
or close to fl ammable materials (e.g. tin
cans, plastic parts or containers that could
melt or catch fi re due to the hot surface of
the device). Only lay the device on a he-
at-resistant surface.
10. Store the device in the integrated base.
11. Always switch off the device after use. Al-
ways unplug the mains cable when you are
not using the device or are cleaning it.
12. The device must not be operated if there
is damage to the mains cable or the plug
or if the device shows damage. If there is
a defect and/or a malfunction, immedia-
tely turn off the device and unplug it. If the
mains cable, the plug or the device itself
are damaged, never attempt to repair the
device yourself, as improperly executed
repairs can result in signifi cant dangers
