General Instructions
No modifications or alterations can be made to the product without authorisation from the manufacturer, in the
event of this, the guarantee will be invalidated.
National standards and safety regulations must be observed.
Safety instructions
Before the product is used, it is to be checked for correct functioning. Should any defects appear, it must not be
used!

The German regulations BGV D8 (hoisting, lifting and winching equipment and BGV D27 (industrial
trucks) are to be observed!

Only use for the intended purpose!

The load must not be left in raised position.
-
The drums must only be raised slightly for when being transported.
-
The bearing capacity given must not be exceeded!
Use and intended purpose
With the FT drum transporter 200 litre steel drums can be lifted from Euro pallets and transported.
Assembly
1.
Mount the wheels on the chassis
2.
Mount (3) the bracket assembly (4) with the gripper assembly (2) with the split pins (1); preferably using the
upper holes!
3.
Mount the supports (5) (6) on the chassis (7) but without tightening
4.
Mount the bracket-gripper assembly on supports
5.
Mount pneumatic springs
6.
Tighten all screws

Operation
Loading
Drive the drum transporter right up to the drum so that the gripper assembly is over the centre of the drum. Then
push the bracket (4) up. To do this you have to pull on the levers that are on the side of the bracket holder. Then
lock the side catches and the middle catch on the rim of the drum. To lift the drum, now push the bracket
downwards.
Moving
When moving the drum, the drum transporter must be pushed. Please only move slowly and on an even surface.
