Do not overfill the machine with popcorn.

Before Using for the First Time
DO NOT USE if the unit is cracked or broken.
"ON/OFF" switch must always be "OFF" ( O ) when the heating plate is removed.
1.
Carefully unpack the Stir Stick Popcorn Maker and remove all packaging materials.
2. Wash lid cap and clear Stir Stick Popcorn Maker lid in warm, soapy water; rinse
and dry thoroughly.
3. Place the base on a clean, flat, heat-resistant working surface.
CAUTION: During popping, the base gets hot. Make sure the surface is able to withstand heat
or use a trivet to protect the working surface.
4. Clean the rod with a slightly soapy sponge or cloth. Wipe with a clean, damp cloth
and dry thoroughly.
5. Clean the base's non-stick popping plate with a soapy sponge or cloth. Wipe with a clean,
damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
6. The Stir Stick Popcorn Maker is now ready for use.
NOTE: When your popcorn maker is heated for the first time, it may emit slight smoke
or odor. This is normal and should disappear after 1 or 2 uses. This does not affect the safety
of the appliance. However, if it emits smoke or odor, it may affect the flavor of the first batch
of popcorn, and it is recommended that these be discarded.
