The warranty/guarantee is rendered void in cases of damage resulting from failure to

Nor do we assume any liability for damage to property or personal injury caused by
improper use or failure to observe the safety instructions. In such cases the warran-
ty/guarantee is voided.
• The system components must not be modified or converted. Otherwise, not only
the CE approval, but also the warranty, will become void.
• Ensure proper ventilation of the surveillance camera resp. the screen and the
mains adapters. Never operate the system components when they are covered.
• Do not touch leaking or oxidised batteries with bare hands. Use protective gloves.
• The system components must not be exposed to extreme temperatures, direct sun-
light, moisture, intense vibration or heavy mechanical strain. This could lead to
malfunction or a defect.
• The operation of this surveillance system does not replace personal supervision of
children or people who require special assistance, but serves only as a support to
this supervision.
• After rapid changes in temperature, the system components require a certain time
to stabilise and adjust to the ambient temperature before they can be operated.
• The system components are no toys and should be kept out of the reach of chil-
dren!
• Please contact a qualified expert if you are not sure about the safety or the correct
use of the system components.
• Never let the packaging material lie around unattended. Plastic foil / bags etc. can
become a dangerous toy for children. There is a risk of suffocation.
• If you have any reason to assume that safe operation is no longer possible, dis-
connect the appliance immediately and secure it against inadvertent operation.
• It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
- the device shows visible damage,
- the unit does not operate any longer and
- if it was stored under unfavourable conditions for an extended period of time
or
- after it was exposed to extraordinary stress caused by transport.
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the Employer's

to be observed.
