2. Intended Use

This 2.4 GHz surveillance system consists of an LCD screen and a wireless colour camera. The LCD
screen includes an SD card slot (max. SD card capacity = up to max. 2GB; SDHC card capacity = up to
max. 32GB) for recording image and sound.
The compact 17.5 cm LCD screen and the user-friendly OSD (=On Screen Display) round off this high-
quality system.
Wireless video and audio transmission to the receiver at a frequency of 2.4 GHz.
The receiver can receive up to four suitable wireless cameras.
The camera is suitable for outdoor operation (IP44). The monitor, the remote control as well as the plug-
in power supply unit are suitable exclusively for use in dry, in-door areas.
The electrical current needed for the monitor and the camera may be supplied only via the power cube
transformer included in the delivery. The remote control delivered with the unit is supplied with current by
a 3 volt button battery (type: CR2025).
Please note that you incur a penalty if you watch strangers with this camera without their knowledge and
consent.
Any use other than the intended use described above is not permitted and may harm the product and
result in short circuits, fire, electric shocks etc. The product must not be modified or converted. Always
observe the safety instructions included in these operating instructions. Please read the operating
instructions carefully and keep them for later reference.
3. Symbols
A lightning-bolt symbol in a triangle indicates a health hazard, e.g. danger of an elec-
tric shock.
An exclamation mark in a triangle indicates a particular risk in handling, operating or
controlling the product.
The "Hand" symbol indicates special advice and operating information.
