3. Adjust the height of the lamp head (C)
(Illustration B6). Make sure that the
minimum distance of 5 cm from the
plants is maintained. When the plants
grow, move the lamp head higher or
trim the plants. Otherwise they could
be damaged.
4. Plug the mains plug into a plug
socket.

SWITCHING ON AND OFF

Please Note!
■
Always switch off the light with the
toggle switch when it is not being
used.
• Press the toggle switch on the con­
necting cable to switch on the light.
• The light has a timer: When it is
switched on, it lights up for 16 hours
and then automatically switches off
for 8 hours. The light automatically
switches back on again after 8 hours
etc.
• Press the toggle switch again to
manually switch off and deactivate the
timer.

appropriate amount of watering,
temperature and care is required
for healthy plants.

Please Note!
■
Do not use any sharp or abrasive
cleaning agents or cleaning pads to
clean the product. These may damage
the surfaces.
• Regularly dust the light.
• Wipe down with a damp cloth if nec­
essary. Then dry with a soft cloth.
• If the product is not going to be used
for a prolonged period, store it in a
cool and dry place protected from
dust and direct sunlight out of the
reach of children and animals.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If the product does not work properly,
check whether you are able to rectify the
problem yourself. If the problem cannot
be solved with the steps below, contact
the customer service department.
Do not attempt to repair an elec-
trical product yourself!
The product does not work.
The mains plug is not inserted in the plug
socket correctly.
► Correct the fit.
The plug socket is defective.
► Try another plug socket.
There is no mains voltage.
► Check the fuse of the electrical dis­
tributor (fuse box).
