When the osmoseur filters too slowly, when it often has filter failures (the 4 filter failure lights flash) or when
the filters need to be changed (the red maintenance symbol lights up), it's time to descale the machine.
To do the descaling, you'll need the following filters:
- Composite Filter (Composite Filter / Active Coal Pre-filter) ) (I)
- RO Membrane - Reverse Osmosis Filter /Reverse Osmosis Membrane (II)
- Post- Coal Filter (III)
You can use your current filters to perform this procedure. After the procedure, you have to put new filters
or your filters that have not been used for descaling.
Keep preciously aside a set of used filters to perform a descaling about once every 2 months or when you
feel that the filtration is too slow.
If you buy new filters, once every 6 months to about a year (this duration may be less depending on the
hardness of the water in your city, the presence of a water softener, the amount of water filtered each day,
or incorrect use), discard the filters you kept for descaling and use the ones you just replaced instead, then
put the brand new filters in place after the descaling is complete.
You can use your current filters to perform this procedure. After the procedure, you have to put
new filters or your filters that have not been used for descaling.
Tip: Mark with a permanent black marker the filters used for the descaling procedure.
