Dear customer
Thank you for choosing a WEKA product.
Read these instructions through completely before assembling your product in order to avoid errors in
assembly or damage.
IMPORTANT!
Please use the enclosed packing list to check immediately that your weka product has been
delivered complete and intact.
Please do not dispose of the packing list before the guarantee period has expired. This list enables you to
check that all the individual parts are present and must be retained along with your proof of purchase. Any
complaints can easily be rectified with the help of this list. The item numbers on the packing list do not
correspond to the item numbers in the following installation instructions.
We recommend that 2 people carry out the installation process.
In order to prevent accidents, we recommend that children be kept out of the direct vicinity during assembly.
We reserve the right to make further technological developments.
This means that there may be minor deviations in the illustrations.
Please do not simply throw away the packaging material. Paper, card and corrugated board as well as
plastic packaging materials should be placed in the correct collection containers.
Wood materials
Healthy knurls, light discolouration and small cracks are characteristic of wood, lend the cabin a natural
appearance and are not a reason for complaint.
Prior to assembly
A minimum room height of 210 cm is required to install the cabin.
A minimum gap of 10 cm from the wall must be maintained.
The floor must be flat and horizontal otherwise malfunctions may occur.
A dry, well ventilated room is the recommended location for your cabin.
A stone or tile floor is both a practical and attractive floor option.
If there is a different flooring, a stone slab with minimum dimensions of least 40 x 50 cm must be placed
under the sauna stove to prevent damage to the floor.
Safety tips
Please note that children should not be permitted unsupervised in the cabin.
Do not place any objects on the sauna stove. – FIRE HAZARD!
Before beginning the heating phase, make sure that there are no flammable objects in the vicinity of the
stove.
Use the sauna infusion concentrate in diluted form only. Instructions on the correct use can be found on the
containers.
Always use wood glue, never chemical adhesives, inside the sauna.
After using the sauna, allow it to cool down by leaving the door open. Always ensure that the room in which
the sauna is located is well ventilated.
The warning sign is to be hung in a visible position
near the sauna stove.
Care instructions
The wall boarding inside may not be covered or allowed to come into contact with moisture.
After using the cabin, allow it to cool down by leaving the door open.
Always ensure that the room in which the cabin is located is well ventilated.
If the cabin is not to be used for a long period of time, we recommend that the door is kept open.
Stubborn stains on the wood can be removed with emery paper.
Electrical installation
The electrical installation may only be carried out by an accredited electrician taking into account the VDE
and EVU guidelines.
Please find information on assembling the sauna stove and control unit in the enclosed assembly
instructions.
