5. INSTALLATION
After having unpacked the cabinet, remove the metallic base supports as per
the attached instructions.
Please note: while removing the metallic base supports the cabinet could be
temporarily unstable.
Be very careful and remove ALL the four supports.
PLEASE NOTE: if the cabinet has to be relocated, fix again the metallic sup-
ports following the above mentioned instructions.
Fix the supplied spacers on the back of the cabinet as per the attached instruc-
tions.
Place the cabinet in its ultimate location and when the floor is not properly
flat, it can be stabilized by setting the four adjusting feet in order to guarantee
a proper stability to the cabinet.
Please note that during the operations described in par. 4 and par. 5, the ope-
rator in charge must assure that no authorized people or no properly pro-
tected people respect the safety distance from the cabinet, especially during
the removal and the fixing of the metallic supports.
Electrical connection
Be sure that the electrical system of the place where the cabinet has to be in-
stalled complies with the regulations and the security codes in force.
The power supply of the cabinet has to be independent from other supplies
and protected with a proper insulation.
It has also to be protected with obligatory earthing.
The maximum allowable system impedance is Zmax=0,049 W
Please check with the energy supply authority the maximum electricity grid
impedance value. This value does not have to exceed the maximum allowable
28
system impedance.
Please follow tension and frequency instructions shown on the label on the
back of the cabinet.
Should the cable be damaged, it is necessary to replace it with another pro-
per cable or special kit.
Ask the manufacturer or the after sales service for this item.
How to connect a remote condensing unit
a. The remote condensing unit has to be installed by qualified personnel
only.
b. The remote condensing unit will have to be chosen according to the refri-
gerating capacity of the cabinet and to the distance between the cabinet
and the remote condensing unit itself.
c. The remote condensing unit will have to be electrically supplied by a pro-
per electrical line .
d. Connecting terminals nr. 9 and 10 of the electrical panel are the contacts
that allow the compressor to start and to stop. It is necessary to use these
contacts to bring a line to the condensing unit but not to feed it.
e. The connecting terminals of the electrical panel are not equipped with
screws but they are equipped with a rapid clutch/lock system of the ca-
bles. See the attached manufacturer's instructions.
6. FIRST START
To start an integral cabinet up is enough to connect the plug with the socket.
The electronic display is set to guarantee a proper working based on the class
temperature of the cabinet.
