Connect the unit
When routing all the cables out of an aquarium,
ensure that each cable forms a separate drip
loop.
How to proceed:
 C
1. Position the heater in the tank. Adhere to the
manufacturer's instructions for use!
2. Insert the power plug of the heater into the
power socket of the thermostat.
3. Fasten the suction cup to the side of the tank
such that the inserted temperature probe
does not come into contact with the heater.
4. Insert the power plug of the thermostat into
the mains socket and program the unit.

• Ambient temperature: When the power plug
is connected, the display will indicate the am-
bient temperature measured by the temper-
ature probe in degrees Celsius, e.g. 21.5. The
display will flash and then stay continuously
lit.
• Target temperature default setting: A tem-
perature of 25 °C is set in the factory for the
heater to be connected.
• Changing the target temperature: When the
plus or minus button is pressed, the saved tar-
get temperature is displayed and increased or
