PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Intended use
HeatControl, referred to in the following as
"unit", may only be used as specified in the fol-
lowing:
• As a thermostat for monitoring and control-
ling an aquarium or terrarium heater.
• Operation under observance of the technical
data.

The following restrictions apply to the unit:
• Only use indoors and for aquaristic purposes
in the home (not for commercial use).
• Only operate with water at a water tempera-
ture of +4 °C to +35 °C.
Recommendation:
• Ideally in combination with the heat cable
OASE HeatUp Basis.
COMMISSIONING/START-UP
Set-up the unit

• Hang the unit on a nail or hook (not included
in the delivery scope) on the wall near the
tank.
• Use the mounting hole for mounting.
• Ensure that it is not possible for the unit to fall
into the water.
• Twist the provided suction cups into the at-
tendant clips.
• Fit the supplied suction cups with a twisting
movement.
– The suction cups adhere to clean, smooth
surfaces.
