2.2 Function
The waterproof system joints serve as components for waterproof walking
devices and enable walking and standing in wet areas.
3 Intended use
3.1 Indications for use
The waterproof system joints made of plastic material are to be used exclus­
ively in pairs for lower limb orthotic fittings in waterproof walking devices.
The waterproof walking device is intended for use in wet areas and for trans­
fer into and out of a pool. The waterproof walking device is not intended to
replace the initial orthosis.
