• Only use the power supply attached if a power socket is used as voltage source.
• The power socket which is connected to the product, must be easily accessible..
• Only connect the power adapter to a normal mains socket connected to the public supply. Before plugging
in the power adapter, check whether the voltage stated on the power adapter complies with the voltage
of your electricity supplier.
• Never connect or disconnect power adapters if your hands are wet.
• Never unplug the power adapter from the mains socket by pulling on the cable; always use the grips on

Operation
This product supports the PCM audio format. The Dolby and DTS formats are not supported.
• Switch off all connected devices before the cable is connected.
• Connect both cinch sockets, which are indicated with R/L, to the analogue audio input of an amplifier.
Red cinch socket = audio signal right
Version 09/14
White cinch socket = audio signal left
• Connect an audio cable with 3.5 mm jack plug to the ANALOG OUT socket and to the 3.5 mm jack socket
of a play-back device (e.g. a wireless transmitter for audio transmission).
• An optical toslink socket OPTICAL IN and a cinch socket COAXIAL IN are available as digital audio inputs.
Connect a corresponding cable of your play-back device to one of these sockets (e.g. an optical toslink
cable from your DVD player to the toslink socket OPTICAL IN). Connect the change-over switch on the
audio conveter to the correct connection (OPTICAL or COAXIAL).
The audio signals can be simultaneously reproduced at both outputs, jack socket ANALOG
OUT and cinch socket R/L.
• Connect the low voltage plug of the plug-in power supply provided to the 5V/DC 1A socket on the audio
converter. Alternatively you can connect the micro USB socket USB power to a USB port of a computer or
another USB power supply to use the product.
• Insert the plug-in power supply into a suitable socket. The blue LED operational display POWER lights up.
• Switch on the amplifier and select the corresponding audio input.
• Connect your play-back device and start play-back.
The audio signal is boosted. Therefore do not connect any headphones directly to this product.
