Instructions for the Electrical Cord and Plug
1. ELECTRICAL SHOCK HAZARD: Failure to follow these instructions
can result in death, fire, or electrical shock.
• Plug into a grounded 3 prong outlet.
• DO NOT remove ground prong.
• DO NOT use an adapter.
• DO NOT use an extension cord.
2. This unit MUST be grounded. In the event of an electrical short circuit, grounding
reduces the risk of electric shock by providing an escape wire for the electric current.
This unit is equipped with a cord having a grounding wire with a grounding plug.
The plug must be plugged into an outlet that is properly installed and grounded.
3. WARNING: Improper use of the grounding plug can result in a risk of electric
shock. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, contact a qualified
electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.
4. A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk resulting
from becoming entangled or tripping over a long cord.
5. The manufacturer does not recommend using this machine in countries that do not
support 120V AC even if a voltage adapter, transformer, or converter is in use.
CO 2 (Carbon Dioxide) Gas
1. CO 2 gas can be dangerous! CO 2 cylinders contain high-pressure compressed
gas, which can be hazardous if not handled properly. Make sure you read and
understand all the procedures for the CO 2 cylinders before installation.
2. Always connect the CO 2 cylinder to a regulator! Failure to do so may cause an
explosion resulting in possible death or injury when the cylinder valve is opened,
3. Never connect the CO 2 cylinder directly to the beer keg.
4. Always follow the correct procedures when changing the CO 2 cylinder.
5. Never drop or throw a CO 2 cylinder.
6. Always keep CO 2 cylinders away from heat. Store extra cylinders in a cool place
(preferably 70° F). Secure fasten with a chain in an upright position when storing.
7. ALWAYS ventilate and leave the area immediately if CO 2 leakage has occurred.
8. There are two safety devices in the pressure system in the form of a valve. One
safety feature is on the CO 2 bottle. The second is on the regulator.
9. Never attempt to refill CO 2 cylinder yourself.
10. IMPORTANT! If the refrigerator has been placed in a horizontal or tilted
position for any period of time wait 8 hours before plugging in the unit.
