Short-time operation
The appliance is designed to process average
domestic quantities of food; it can be
operated without interruption for a
maximum of 1 minute, when it should be
allowed to cool down for approximately 5
minutes.

The blender is equipped with a 2-position
operating button.
Button half depressed - low power
Button fully depressed - high power
Blender operation
- Always use a suitable container for
operation. A tall container with a flat
base is best.
- Push the blender unit down into the
ingredients in the bowl before briefly
switching the unit on with the operation
button.
- Make sure that the unit can rotate freely
inside the bowl and is not blocked during
operation.
- As soon as the operating button is
released, the blender will switch off.
Always wait until the motor has come to
a complete standstill before lifting the
blender attachment from the mixture.
- Always remove the plug from the wall
socket after use.
Attachments
Remove the plug from the wall socket and
wait until the motor has come to a complete
standstill before changing any attachments.
The blade unit and blender disc both screw
on and off. Before removing, ensure that
the drive pin on the shaft of the blender unit
sits properly in its recess; then use a suitable
cloth to grip the attachment, turning it
clockwise to unscrew and remove. (Caution:
the blades are extremely sharp.) In the same
way, when fitting an attachment, use a cloth
to grip and turn it anti-clockwise to tighten.
- Blade unit
The blade unit is suitable for processing
fruit and vegetables, and when preparing
baby food, purée or mashed food.
- Blender disc
The blender disc is suitable for any kind
of liquid - milk, yoghurt, mayonnaise,
cocktails etc.
Sieve and blender jug
The sieve can be inserted in the blender jug.
When processing fruit and vegetables, the
juice is collected in the jug while the pulp
remains in the sieve. Do not fill with hot
liquid.
Blender models with additional chopping
attachment
With the normal blending rod removed, the
drive unit can be attached to the chopping
attachment.
- Fit the cutting blade unit into the bowl
before filling the bowl with the food to be
chopped. Exercise extreme caution: the
blades are very sharp. When handling the
blades, always hold them by the upper
protective plastic covering.
- Position the lid securely on the bowl.
- Attach the drive unit to the lid of the
bowl.
- Insert the plug into the wall socket and
press the operating button in brief bursts
until the mixture has reached the desired
consistency. During processing, the lid
and bowl should be securely held in
place.
- Avoid overfilling the bowl. It may be
filled with herbs etc. up to half. Before
the bowl is filled, the food to be
processed should be cut into pieces of
about 1 cm.
- Do not fill the bowl with hot liquid or
hard material such as ice cubes, nutmegs,
hard grain, coffee beans, rice or spices.
Other food items such as chocolate or
