15.1 Before first use
Remove all accessory from the inside of the device, clean them with soapy water and dry
them after this. Wipe the bottom and the top of the interior with a damp cloth and thoroughly
dry the interior after this.
The heating elements have a protection layer. At first use little vapor can occur. This is not
harmful and do not affect the performance of the device.
Therefore operate the device at first use for 15 minutes on highest level and let it thoroughly
aerate after this and let it cool down.
15.2 Use
Check that the crumb tray is inserted correctly.
Heating up:
You can use any function to heat the oven. To do this, turn the knob for temperature to the
desired temperature and the knob for the timer to the desired heating-up time or to "ON" to
heat up the device without a time limit.
"Preparations":
If necessary, line the baking tray / grill rack with baking paper. Place your food on the baking
tray / grill rack and slide it into the device.
Or: Place the food on the rotisserie and insert it into the device as described under "Use of
rotisserie".
Positioning the grill rack
Above: grilling meat. Leave space at the top, be aware that the food could rise when grilling.
Medium: Ideal for baking and cooking processes (e.g. pizza), reheating, baking with
convection. Grilling larger foods
Below: For cooking larger foods and reheating them. Also for low temperature cooking.
Starting the cooking process:
Set the desired temperature with the knob for temperature.
Set the desired function with the knob for function
Set the desired time with the knob for timer turn the knob counter-clockwise to "ON" to let
the device run without time limit.
Make sure that the oven door is properly closed.
End of the cooking process:
After the set time has elapsed, an acoustic signal sounds. When set to ON, the device
remains on until you switch it off manually.
When your food has finished cooking, set the timer to OFF.
Use oven gloves or the removal assistance to remove the accessories with food.
