Coaxial Connections Hook-Up
Coaxial Connections provide surge protection against damaging voltage surges and spikes on the incoming coax cable.
The HDP1800 Cable/TV coaxial connection also features ground loop isolation to dramatically reduce unwanted noise.
Only a Cable TV line should be connected to the PowerCenter's Cable TV coaxial connection. Connecting a Satellite
or other cable to the PowerCenter's Cable TV connection may result in compromised reception.
Protect TV/Cable and Satellite Connections as follows:
From properly grounded
TV/Cable Line
To TV/Cable Box
NOTES: You may need additional coaxial cables to connect the HDP1800 to your components.
To ensure complete power surge protection, all lines that connect to your AV components
need to be connected to surge protected connections on the PowerCenter.
