SAFETY USE
1) Look carefully around the tractor and the snowblower to make sure nobody is near the snowblower before
starting it.
2) When you blow the snow on a rough surface, direct the chute to the ground to prevent accident. Make sure
the skid shoes are well adjusted so the blade won't bring any gravel in the snowblower.
3) Before you start the snowblower, make sure that the driving shaft is well attached and that there is no ice on
the auger and in the fan.
4) Before starting the tractor, declutch the driving shaft and put the controls at off.
5) Always stay far from the moving parts of the snowblower and its output area.
6) Never make any intervention like releasing, cleaning, greasing while the engine is on. It's preferable to
disengage the driving shaft and to remove the key to avoid any accidental start.
7) Before unblock the chute, disengage the driving shaft, turn off the engine and neutralize all the hydraulic
tensions.
8) When the engine is on, make sure that you are in a ventilated area.
9) Do not try to blow in steep slopes. Be careful when you change direction in a slope.
10) All the safety guards must be in place before using the snowblower.
11) To avoid blowing the snow towards people, animals, vehicles or buildings, always adjust properly the angle
of the chute deflector.
12) Set the operation speed according to the snow surface conditions. Icy condition may cause an accident.
13) Make sure that no object can enter in the snowblower when it is in operation.
14) Be careful when moving backward, make sure you have a good visibility at any time.
15) If you feel abnormal vibrations, disengage the driving shaft, turn off the engine and check the cause of the
vibrations.
16) When you're done using the snowblower, disengage the driving shaft, lower the snowblower, put it on
neutral, put the parking brake, turn off the engine and remove the key.
17) Use safety lights and respect the rules on public roads with the snowblower.
18) Be careful on the road. Never allow passengers on board.
19) Stop the auger before leaving to another working area or when you don't blow.
20) It's preferable to lock the left and right brake pedals together so they can be activated simultaneously.
21) Respect the speed limit on the road, it allows a constant control on the direction and brakes.
