2.1 | Reading and keeping the instructions for use
These instructions apply exclusively to the aforementioned chain
breaker and riveter. They contain important information on handling,
safety and warranty. Read the instructions carefully, in particular
the safety instructions, before using the chain breaker and riveter.
Failure to adhere to instructions can cause damage to the vehicle
and result in consequential damages or even an accident.
Keep these instructions for future reference. If you pass the
chain breaker and riveter on to third parties, you must also
hand over these instructions.

3.1 | Intended use
This chain breaker and riveter is designed to break D.I.D motorcycle
chains with the pitches 520, 525, 50(530) and 532, and to rivet
these chains using a D.I.D rivet link, type ZJ (tubular rivet). Check
whether the chain coupling is suitable for your chain prior to
assembly. Each chain type requires its own identical chain coupling.
Since this is a universal product and not intended just for one
particular vehicle, it is important to make sure that it is suitable for
your vehicle before you use the product for the fi rst time.
Always follow the instructions in your vehicle owner's manual and the
directions of the vehicle manufacturer. This is essential, as improper
use of this product or its unsuitability for a vehicle could impair the
safety of the vehicle and/or damage it.
